Export or Delete Your ClearHire Data

Data export and deletion in ClearHire are the controls that let you take a copy of your information and permanently remove your account and data when you choose to. ClearHire stores your career data so the product can work across devices, and you remain in control of that data — you can export what you want to keep and delete the rest through the in-app flow.

What ClearHire stores

Your account holds the data that powers the app, including:

  • Your profile (experience, education, projects, skills, languages, certifications, awards)
  • Resumes you build and related settings
  • Applications you track and their stages
  • Reviews tied to verified employment
  • Verification requests and confirmations
  • Files you upload (stored in FilesHub)

For the full list of what is stored and which providers are involved, see the privacy summary.

Exporting your data

Before deleting anything, take copies of what you want to keep:

  1. Export your resumes as PDF or DOCX — these are your most portable artifacts.
  2. Save important details from your profile and tracked applications that you may want to reference later.
  3. Keep records of any verified roles or reviews you care about.

Exported resume files live on your device and are unaffected by account deletion.

Deleting your account and data

ClearHire provides an in-app account-deletion flow. To remove your account and associated data:

  1. Open your account or settings area in the web app or Android app.
  2. Find the delete account option in the account/privacy controls.
  3. Confirm the deletion as prompted.

Deletion is significant: once your account and data are removed, the information in ClearHire is gone, so export anything you need first. Files uploaded to FilesHub are removed as part of the deletion of your data.

Honest notes

  • Export does not happen automatically when you delete — take your copies first.
  • Deletion is meant to be permanent. Treat it as final rather than a pause.
  • Some records tied to other parties (for example, a confirmation an employer made) follow ClearHire's data handling; the authoritative rules are in the in-app policy.

For the binding details on retention and your rights, read the in-app policy at clearhire.aoneahsan.com/privacy, summarized in the privacy overview.
