ClearHire Quick Start: From Sign-Up to Your First Resume
The ClearHire quick start is a short, numbered path that takes you from creating an account to exporting your first resume in one sitting. It assumes nothing beyond a browser or the Android app, and every step here links to a deeper guide if you want more detail. The goal is a working profile and a downloadable CV in well under an hour.
You can follow along in the web app at clearhire.aoneahsan.com or in the Android app. Both share the same account, so progress syncs.
Step 1: Create your account
- Open the web app or launch ClearHire on Android.
- Choose Continue with Google — this is the only sign-in method. There is no email-and-password registration; signing in with Google creates your account if you do not have one.
- Confirm you are signed in — your name or avatar appears in the header.
Your account is what stores your profile, resumes, applications, and verification requests, so this step is required before you can save anything.
Step 2: Complete your profile
Your profile is the single source of truth that feeds every resume you generate. Fill in as much as you can across the seven sections:
- Add at least one work experience entry (title, company, dates, and a few bullet points).
- Add your education.
- Add skills — these power job search filters and the ATS checker.
- Optionally add projects, languages, certifications, and awards.

Step 3: Build and export a resume
- Open the resume builder.
- Pick a professional template.
- Choose which profile sections to include and in what order.
- Preview the result.
- Export as PDF (for sending to employers) or DOCX (for further editing).

Step 4 (optional): Verify a past role
If you want a "Verified" badge on a previous job, open that experience entry and request employment verification. Your former employer receives the request and can confirm it. The badge does not prove performance — only that the role existed and was acknowledged.

How long does the quick start take?
Creating an account takes a minute. A useful profile takes 15–30 minutes depending on how much history you add. Exporting a resume after that is near-instant.
Can I use Google sign-in on both web and Android?
Yes. On the web, sign-in uses a Google popup; on Android it uses the native Google sign-in flow. Both land you on the same ClearHire account.
Do I have to fill in every profile section?
No. Only the sections you want on a resume matter. Experience and skills are the most useful to complete first; projects, awards, and certifications are optional.
Will my resume save automatically?
Your profile data is saved to your account. When you export a resume, the file downloads to your device; the underlying profile content stays in ClearHire so you can regenerate it anytime.
Is the quick start different on Android?
The steps are the same. The Android app uses native sign-in and native file handling for exports, but the profile and resume builder work identically.
