The employer side and the timeout
On the company side, an authorized contact can confirm (or decline) the request through ClearHire for companies. Verification requests are not open forever: the employer-side request has a timeout. If the request is not actioned within that window, it lapses rather than lingering indefinitely. You can try again, reach out to the employer directly, or choose a different contact who can confirm the role.
This timeout is deliberate. It keeps requests current and avoids a backlog of stale, unanswered asks. It also means a missing badge is not evidence of dishonesty — it may simply mean the request expired or the employer has not responded.
