Application Tracking in ClearHire

Application tracking in ClearHire is the feature that organizes every job you apply to into clear stages — from applied through to offer — so you can see the status of each opportunity in one place. Instead of juggling spreadsheets, email threads, and memory, you log each application and move it along a pipeline as things progress.

Stages from applied to offer

A typical job hunt runs many applications at once, each at a different point. Tracking them as stages keeps the picture clear:

StageWhat it means
AppliedYou submitted your application
In review / screeningThe employer is reviewing
InterviewOne or more interview rounds underway
OfferAn offer has been extended

You advance each application as it moves, so your dashboard always reflects reality. The exact labels and flow follow the app, but the principle is a single pipeline from start to outcome.

Why tracking helps

  • Nothing slips. You know who you applied to and when, so follow-ups happen on time.
  • You see momentum. A glance shows how many roles are active and where they stand.
  • You prioritize. Time goes to the opportunities furthest along or most promising.

How it connects to the rest of ClearHire

  • Find roles in job search, then log them here.
  • Tailor and export a CV in the resume builder for each application.
  • Review your activity in analytics, which can reflect application progress alongside profile views and resume downloads.

What application tracking does not do

  • It does not apply for you. You submit applications; ClearHire records and organizes them.
  • It does not read your inbox. Stage changes are yours to update; the tracker reflects what you log.
  • It is not fed by the browser extension. The extension keeps its own job list locally in your browser; those entries do not appear here. (It is also not published yet.)
  • It does not guarantee responses. Tracking improves your follow-through, not an employer's reply rate.

FAQ

Do I have to update stages manually?

Yes. You add each application and move it along as it progresses — there is no automatic capture into this tracker from any source, including the browser extension, whose job list is separate and local to your browser.

Can I track applications to jobs found outside ClearHire?

The tracker is most directly tied to roles in the app, but its value is organizing your whole search. Logging external applications keeps your pipeline complete.

How many applications can I track?

Track as many as your search requires. The point of a pipeline is to handle many concurrent applications without losing the thread.

Does tracking notify employers?

No. Your pipeline is private to you. Employers see your application through their own applicant tracking, not your personal tracker.

What happens to my tracked applications if I delete my account?

They are removed with the rest of your data per the in-app deletion flow. Export first if you want a record — see data export and deletion.
