Moving from LinkedIn workplace verification to ClearHire
LinkedIn workplace verification: A badge on a LinkedIn profile confirmed through a current work email, Microsoft Entra Verified ID or an employer-provided licence. This page is the practical half: what carries across, in what order, and where it stops.
Who should stay, and who should move
Choose LinkedIn workplace verification if your current employer is one of the companies it covers and the reader is on LinkedIn anyway.
Choose ClearHire if the role you want confirmed is one you have left, and you want the countersignature on the resume file, not only a profile.
Steps
A confirmation made on LinkedIn workplace verification stays on LinkedIn workplace verification. It does not transfer, so each role is asked for again.
- Sign in to ClearHire with Google and follow the quick start.
- Add the role to your profile. Create your profile has the fields.
- Send the request to the company. Request employment verification says what they see and what happens if they do not answer.
- Show the record. A countersigned role appears on your profile and can print on a resume export.
- Leave LinkedIn workplace verification as it is. The two records can sit side by side.
What we checked
Every row was read on LinkedIn workplace verification’s own pages on 7 November 2026. A page that did not say gets “not stated”, never “no”. Open LinkedIn workplace verification’s site and check us.

Where ClearHire falls short
- Only resumes leave in six formats. A resume exports as PDF, Word, JSON, HTML, Markdown or XML. Cover letters copy out as plain text, and a portfolio has no export.
- Free exports name us. A resume exported on Free carries one “built with” line. Paid plans remove it.
- There is no career path on your record. The roadmap and skills-gap pages are reading, not a plan kept for you.
- A company’s answer about a person stays private. Only that person and the company’s admins can read it.
FAQ
Can ClearHire import my LinkedIn workplace verification data?
No. ClearHire has no importer, so anything you bring across is typed in or pasted.
Do I have to pay to try this?
No. Free is a plan and it does not end. Paid plans raise the limits.
