ClearHire Changelog

This ClearHire changelog is a high-level, honest record of the app's notable changes and the capabilities it ships today. It is intentionally brief and factual: it tracks what exists and broadly when, without precise day-level dates or invented version history. For how any single feature works, follow the links into the feature pages.

Current release

Version 1.12.x — 2026. These docs describe the 1.12.x line: a profile-driven resume builder, employment verification, job search and application tracking, mutual reviews, career tools, gamification, and analytics. The web app at clearhire.aoneahsan.com runs this line.

The Android app is live on Google Play, but the version installed there may trail the web app while an update is in review. The Play listing is the authoritative source for which Android version is currently published — check it there rather than assuming it matches this page. Some earlier version numbers (1.9.0 and 1.9.1) were prepared internally and never published at all, so they do not appear as releases here.

Recent additions

The current release added a few ways ClearHire keeps you informed, plus internal delivery improvements:

  • In-app notifications for application-status changes, employment-verification results, reviews, and occasional admin announcements.
  • Optional push notifications you can turn on in Notification Settings — off by default; the app works fully without them.
  • A few transactional emails (welcome, contact-form reply, account-deletion confirmation, identity-verification result). No marketing email.
  • Anonymous profile-view counting — profile views now include signed-out visitors, counted at most once per visitor per day.
  • Over-the-air updates on Android so web-layer fixes can reach the installed app without waiting for a store release.

Not yet available

  • iOS app — there is no iOS build. It is not in review, not in beta, and has no target date.
  • Browser extension — built at version 1.2.0, but the first Chrome Web Store submission is still pending, so it cannot be installed from any store. It supports LinkedIn, Indeed, and Glassdoor only, and its data stays local to the browser. See browser extension.

If either ships, this changelog and the relevant pages will be updated with the real store link.

This changelog stays honest and high-level. Rather than fabricate precise dates, it records capabilities and the broad year (2026).

Is iOS in this release?

No. There is no iOS build at all — it is not in review and has no target date. ClearHire ships on web and Android.
